This sector of the development consists of two water intakes, two sections of penstock and one powerhouse.

P1C water intake is situated at an altitude of 919,70 meters above sea level and it was designed to take over an installed flow of 1,40 m3/s.

Ps water intake is situated at an altitude of 919,70 meters above sea level and it was designed to take over an installed flow of 1,60 m3/s.

The penstock is made out of GRP and it has two sections with diameters of 1.000 and 1.500 mm, with a total length of 4.370 m.

CHEMP D2 power plant is situated at an altitude of 858,50 meters above sea level and it is equipped with two Francis turbines, which were dimensioned for an installed flow of 3,00 m3/s and a total head of 61,20 m. The equipment was designed to develop an installed power of about 2,539 MW and it will produce energy of about 8.671 MWh/year.
