This sector of the development consists of one water intake, one section of penstock and one powerhouse.

P1D water intake is situated at an altitude of 1.030,21 meters above sea level and it was designed to take over an installed flow of 1,60 m3/s.

he penstock is made out of GRP with a diameter of 1.100 mm and a total length of 2.930 m.

CHEMP D1 power plant is situated at an altitude of 923,14 meters above sea level and it is equipped with a Pelton turbine, which was dimensioned for an installed flow of 1,60 m3/s and a total head of 107,07 m. The equipment was designed to develop an installed power of about 1,409 MW and it will produce energy of about 4.381 MWh/year.
