Field studies

At the beginning, our specialists study each investment from the topographically, geotechnical and hydrological point of view, together with the legal regime of the land and the possibility of the connection into the National Energy System.

The topographical study is performed by licensed topographist, using STEREO 70 coordinates, so that the land could be well detailed in digital format. The topographical study will be approved by the Office of Land Survey and Real Estate Advertising.

Geotechnical study shall be made by engineers to determine the foundation layer of the power house building, the water intake building and the penstock line. The drillings are carried out and the samples taken will receive a laboratory report.

Hydrological study shall be developed by the National Institute of Hydrology and Water Management Bucharest. A complete hydrological study creates a real image of the river capacity and contains data resulted from many years during which the water flows were measured daily..
